Terms and Conditions of Sale
These terms define the rights and obligations of Entreprise BERRAHOU and its customers for private chauffeur transport services.
1. Purpose and scope
These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the contractual relationship between Entreprise BERRAHOU (SIREN: 982 009 839), operating under the commercial name "Connect-Cab", and any individual or legal entity booking a private chauffeur transport service.
Any booking implies full acceptance of these terms. The customer confirms that they have read these terms before making a booking.
Entreprise BERRAHOU reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The applicable terms are those in force at the time of booking.
2. Description of services
Connect-Cab provides private chauffeur transport services in the Bordeaux region and beyond. Services include:
• Airport transfers: pickup and drop-off at Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport.
• Train station transfers: service to Bordeaux Saint-Jean station and other stations.
• Business travel: corporate transport and hourly chauffeur service.
• Events: weddings, private evenings and corporate events.
• Long-distance trips: intercity journeys and transfers to other cities.
• Ski resort transfers: transport to resorts in the Pyrenees.
The vehicles offered (Premium Sedan, Comfort SUV, Premium Van, Business Class) are high-end, air-conditioned, insured and maintained in accordance with applicable regulations.
3. Pricing and payment
Pricing: Fares are calculated based on mileage, with a minimum fare per ride. An estimated quote is provided during booking. The final price may vary depending on the actual route, traffic conditions and any changes requested by the customer.
Applicable supplements:
• Baby seat: €10 per trip.
• Round trip: the fare is calculated for each direction.
• Waiting time beyond 15 minutes, excluding airport and train station pickups: €0.50/minute.
• Waiting time beyond 30 minutes for airport and train station pickups: €0.50/minute.
Payment: Payment is made on board or by bank transfer by prior agreement. Accepted payment methods: bank card, cash and bank transfer.
For business customers, payment by invoice may be agreed with a 30-day payment term from the invoice date. In case of late payment, statutory penalties will apply in accordance with Article L.441-10 of the French Commercial Code.
4. Booking and confirmation
Booking: Bookings may be made via the website, by phone or by email. A booking is considered firm and final once confirmed by the customer.
Confirmation: A confirmation email is sent to the customer with the booking summary, including reference, date, time, addresses, vehicle and estimated fare. The customer must check that the information is accurate.
Required information: The customer must provide accurate and complete information, including name, phone number and precise addresses. The carrier cannot be held liable for errors in the information provided by the customer.
Pickup: The driver arrives at the agreed address and time. For airport and train station transfers, the driver monitors flights and trains in real time.
5. Cancellation and changes
Cancellation by the customer:
• Free cancellation up to 6 hours before pickup time.
• Cancellation between 6 and 2 hours before pickup: 50% of the estimated fare may be charged.
• Cancellation less than 2 hours before pickup or no-show: 100% of the estimated fare may be charged.
Changes: Any change to time, address or vehicle must be communicated at least 2 hours before pickup. Changes are subject to availability and may result in a fare adjustment.
Cancellation by Connect-Cab: In case of force majeure, such as extreme weather conditions or mechanical breakdown, Connect-Cab reserves the right to cancel or postpone the service. The customer will be informed as soon as possible and no fee will be charged. Connect-Cab will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative solution.
6. Liability and insurance
Insurance: Entreprise BERRAHOU holds professional liability insurance covering all private chauffeur transport activities. Vehicles are fully insured in accordance with applicable law.
Carrier liability: The carrier is responsible during the service, from customer pickup to drop-off. Liability covers bodily injury suffered by passengers under the conditions provided by the French Transport Code.
Luggage: The carrier declines liability for loss, theft or damage to luggage or personal belongings left in the vehicle, unless fault on its part is proven.
Customer obligations: The customer agrees to respect the vehicle and not compromise the safety of the driver or other passengers. Any damage to the vehicle attributable to the customer will be charged. Smoking, messy food and alcoholic drinks are strictly prohibited on board without prior driver approval.
7. Delays and incidents
Customer delay: A free waiting time of 15 minutes is granted, or 30 minutes for airport and train station pickups. Beyond this period, a supplement of €0.50/minute applies. After 45 minutes without contact from the customer, the ride may be considered a no-show.
Driver delay: Connect-Cab undertakes to make every reasonable effort to respect the agreed schedule. In case of delay attributable to the carrier, a proportional reduction may be granted to the customer.
Lost property: If an item is forgotten in the vehicle, the customer should contact customer service as soon as possible. Found items are kept for 30 days.
8. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute relating to the interpretation or performance of these terms, the parties will seek an amicable solution. Failing amicable agreement, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Bordeaux.
Consumer customers are informed that they may use a consumer mediator in accordance with Articles L.611-1 and following of the French Consumer Code. The competent mediator may be contacted through the European online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
